As I move from Classroom Teacher to Reliever I would like to continue to share with you the work of the students that I work with. The students and I look forward to reading your positive comments about the things that we do.

#LikeAGirl
This term we are learning about Puberty. We have to create a display stall and a speech for our Puberty Expo at the end of term. One area we are looking at (among Body Changes) is Self Worth.
What do you think of when you hear the phrase "like a girl"? Such as "You throw like a girl"? Why does our perception of how a girl changes when we go through puberty?

Hey!
ReplyDeleteThis is a good video, this should be shared everywhere, everyone should see this. This is a good way to show that girls can win, girls are strong, girls are girls. I am a girl and I try my best in everything, its might not be enough to win but I try my best.

This video is very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteWhen people say “like a girl” they only thing about the negatives in girls.
But what about the positives? We can run fast, and we can throw a ball, we can fight and defend ourselves, we can do almost anything.
Where did you find this video?
