Wonder - Novel Study

In one of the classes I have been working with through this term, we have been reading and studying the novel, Wonder, by R.J. Palacio.

It is a book about a young boy August who is starting Middle School. Not only is he dealing with the dramas and issues of starting a new school like everyone else, he looks very different to everyone else.

We are learning that beauty has more to do with what is on the inside, not the outside. We are also learning about characterisation and the role it plays in the books we read and the stories we write.  Check back again soon for some examples of what we are learning about.
